OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 December was announced, that Mykola Tolmachov, General Director of TMM Company became the winner of 'Innovative Business Ideas' category of the national round of 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2008' world's most prestigious business awards, held by Ernst & Young.

The results of the 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2008' in Ukraine were announced at the awards ceremony held in Kyiv on December, 6, 2008. 12 Ukrainian businessmen became the finalists of the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' in 2008. The winners are represented in the 'Small Business', 'Socially Responsible Business', 'Innovative Business Ideas' and 'Fast Growing Business' categories.

Mykola Tolmachov is the General Director and the main founder of TMM Company. Under his management TMM has successfully completed and put into operation 23 real estate objects located in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Yalta. The total area of projects completed by TMM within the 15 years is over 450 thousand square meters. At present TMM is constructing 11 real estate objects with the total area of 410 thousand square meters. Other 3 million square meters are under development.

For the first time 'Entrepreneur of the Year' awards by Ernst & Young took place in the USA in 1986. Nowadays 'Entrepreneur of the Year' awards are carried out in more than 50 countries of the world. The representatives of large and middle business can participate in the awards. Regional 'Entrepreneur of the Year' winners are determined by national jury - independent experts recognized as leaders in business community. Ukraine joined the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' awards in 2006.
