OREANDA-NEWS. On December 10, 2008 National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity introduced new deposits in US dollars.

The bank launched Holis deposit with the term of 30 days and interest rate of 7.5% APR. The interest rates paid at the end of deposit's term in US dollars or in national currency in soums. Initial sum of deposit is unlimited and client can put additional resources to the deposit.

Lux is another new deposit of the bank. The bank accepts money in US dollars or soums for 45 days with the interest rate 8% APR. Initial sum of deposit is unlimited and client can put additional resources to the deposit.

The bank said it accepts deposits till 31 December 2008.
