OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 December was announced, that IJSC Ingosstrakh paid out RUR 8.82 mln to OGK-1 (Wholesale Generating Company No 1) under the insurance policy as a compensation for the incident that occurred at one of the insurant’s operations, Iriklinskaya State District Power Plant. On March 4, 2008 the liquid end of the turbo feed pump installed in Unit No 3 of the Power Plant was damaged due to process failure.

To determine the cause and size of damages IJSC Ingosstrakh engaged an independent expert organization, ZAO Industrial Risk. According to the findings of the expert organization, the damages were caused by the mechanic impact of the delivery port on the wobble plate during the operation of the pump.
