OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 December was announced, that Lipetskcement, integrated into the holding EUROCEMENT group, was presented with a thank-you letter by authorities of Lipetsk town.

Lipetskcement, integrated into the holding EUROCEMENT group, for active participation in the social projects fair and public association initiatives support, was presented with a thank-you letter by Lipetsk authorities. This award became high opinion of work, performed by the plant in implementing town and region social-oriented programs. Let us recall that at the end of October, the town authorities granted a thank-you letter to for assistance in town zoological park development and reconstruction.

Within this year, Lipetskcement has taken part in the fate of twenty companies of the region. The plant shipped cement to churches, helped repair schools, organized tours for the disabled, and transferred funds to hospitals, schools, cultural centers, and veterans the Great Patriotic War.

The holding EUROCEMENT group regards charity as permanent and compulsory line of its social activity. Every year, the holding adopts and implements charity program, which includes support of social and cultural significant events, help to public and religious organizations, as well as disadvantaged groups of citizens.

Currently, EUROCEMENT group Holding charity activity is formed subject to the two fundamental principals – directing targeted support, as the most effective method of providing beneficent aid, and focus not on public response, but on society’s actual need for implementation of any programs.
