OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2008. Over two weeks the militia has revealed 1505 facts of illegal operations with currency. In the process of documenting of violations the confiscated sum totaled USD 381.8 thousand, EUR 43.8 thousand and UAH 1.9 million.

In the process of carrying out measures 26 proceedings have been initiated on crime evidences envisaged by article 199 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and 5 – by article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Manufacture, Storage, Acquisition, Transportation, Dispatch, Importation into Ukraine with the Intention to Sell, or Sale of the Counterfeit Money, State Securities or State Lottery Tickets” and “Fraud”).
