OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2008. The insurance company ROSNO has paid the owner of cottage located in Naro-Fominsk district of Moscow Region an insurance compensation under the property insurance contract for the damage inflicted to the cottage’s internal furnishing by flooding, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The cottage house, together with its structural elements, furnishings and communication system, had been insured in ROSNO under the insurance program "Citadel" for 788,000 US dollars. The insurance contract provided coverage against the following risks: fire, lightning, gas explosion, flood, illegal third-party actions, natural disasters, collision with land vehicles, and aircraft impact. The cottage’s furnishing was damaged by water as a result of a breakdown in the heating system.

The insurance compensation equaled 1 million 062 thousand 817 roubles.
