OREANDA-NEWS. December 9, 2008. As part of the contract made, GRASYS undertakes to supply three mobile nitrogen stations for LLC Gazprom transgaz Samara, a subsidiary of OJSC Gazprom. The stations supplied are designated for equipment purging and fire safety assurance at compressor stations operated by LLC Gazprom transgaz Samara.

All the three stations are installed on Ural vehicle, thus allowing prompt nitrogen delivery for repair works at customer's compressor stations.


The stations incorporating the advanced engineering developments combine the benefits of compactness and high capacity with reliability, serviceability and simplicity of operation. The temperature range of the compressor stations is between −50 °С and +50 °С. Due to the enhanced performance characteristics, GRASYS mobile nitrogen stations in the MA series were recommended for production and adoption at all OJSC Gazprom facilities. Specifically, the MA nitrogen stations are recommended for use at compressor stations, booster compressor stations, underground gas storage facilities at compressor stations for pipelines purging and pressure testing, impulse gas generation, temporary abandonment and other applications. GRASYS nitrogen stations are characterized by exceptional reliability proven through operation in the Far North and Siberia regions.

The stations supplied are designed for production of 98% gaseous nitrogen from atmospheric air at the rate of 150 nmі/hr. In the process of operation, product nitrogen purity may be easily adjusted ensuring the maximum cost-efficiency. Manufacture of nitrogen stations is based on the state-of-the-art air separation technology.

The MA series of nitrogen stations includes nitrogen equipment with various technical characteristics selected to optimally match the operator requirements. The station capacity varies within the limits of 100 to 5,000 nmі/hr, and nitrogen purity — within the limits of 90 to 99.5%, with the outlet gas pressure of 400 atm.
