OREANDA-NEWS. December 9, 2008. Pavlogradugol met the annual coal production target of 13.12m tons, the press secretary of Pavlogradugol, Yulia Kolomoets informed the IA Novyi Most on December 5.

Pavlogradugol completed the execution of its annual coal production plan in an amount of 13.12m tons. The Company is retaining its leadership position in the coal sector of Ukraine; its current share in the Ukrainian coal output is 18.2%. Today, each of the ten mines in Pavlogradugol can boast that it has produced over 1 m tons of coal since the beginning of 2008. As for Geroev Kosmosa mine, on November 29, it brought to grass 2 m tons of ‘black gold’ – its history record. Yubileynaya, Geroev Kosmosa and Zapadno-Donbasskaya mines have already accomplished their annual coal production programmes’, says Yulia Kolomoets.

According to her, the coal production target of this year is 2.1% above that of 2007.
