OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 December was announced, that at the JSC "NIIME and Micron", the parent company's business lines "SITRONICS Microelectronic Solutions" held a one-day retreat meeting of the Council on Innovation and High Tech State Duma. The meeting led State Duma Chairman of the Committee on Science and High Tech, academician of RAMS and Valery Chereshnev.

The main topic of discussion was the new draft law on innovation, enabling the development of high technologies in the Russian Federation.

CEO "NIIME and Micron" Gennady Krasnikov, co-chairman of the Council, opening the meeting, said: "The Council faces the challenge of creating in Russia a viable innovation economy. This is a complex task, in which a major role to play microelectronics capable of knowledge-modern components of great importance to strengthening the security of the state. Our industry is directly dependent on gosregulirovaniya, and we are ready to cooperate in the development of legislative initiatives".
