OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 December was announced, that on March 11-12, 2009 IEC "Crocus Expo" (Moscow) will welcome the 6th International industrial forum GEOFORM+ 2009. The forum’s programme will include the 5th International workshop conference "Geospatial technologies and field of their application". The conference will be supported by the Federal Agency for Geodesy and Cartography and Association of Engineering Survey in Construction.

The conference will be held on the threshold of a remarkable anniversary – 230 years of geodesic, cartographic and land use planning professional education in Russia. The programme presupposes plenary sessions dedicated to the experience and challenges of professional education in the spheres of geodesy, cartography, geomatics, earth remote sensing, photo charting and land use planning as well as peculiar section subjects: "Transport navigational support", "Inventory control and land use planning", "Complex engineering research".

Over a period of conferences the floor was given to the representatives of educational institutions, production enterprises, developers and suppliers of machinery, software and spatial data from Russia and abroad (Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, France, Canada, USA, Arab Emirates, Japan).

All the comers can either participate in the conference or attend it as visitors. The participants’ reports will be included in the collected volume "Conference matters" and placed at the exhibition Web-site www.geoprofi.ru.
