OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 December was announced, that Irkutskenergo starts works on implementation of the business process management system. It is built on the basis of ARIS tool platform of ISD Scheer Company.

In order to achieve development of the business process management system, a long-term plan of works on development of the process management system and a package of the normative documents intended for performance of works on modeling the business processes of Irkutskenergo were created. The project assumed development of a model of processes of top level, detailed models of one of the selected processes, and training of the power company’s employees in business processes modeling methodology and technology along with application of ARIS tool platform.

During realization of the project, a complex of ARIS software products developed by the IDS Scheer company allowed to connect the business processes with the organizational structure of Irkutskenergo, to systematize documents circulation and the operations inside of the company, that at the subsequent stages of the project will enable effectively to reveal "bottlenecks" in processes of the company, to place necessary points of the control, and also to optimize the processes on the basis of the method of operation-by-operation calculation of expenses.

"Special value of this project consists for us first of all in the fact that IDS Scheer involves our experts in its performance," Director for Development of Irkutskenergo Andrey Snitsky said. "This enables them to get acquainted with methodology and technologies of creation of models of processes and allows to reduce expenses for certain works in the project that is especially relevant now in connection with the international financial crisis. In combination with the project methodology of IDS Scheer, this not only raises competence of powermen in the issues of the process and project management, but also creates preconditions for the further development of Irkutskenergo process management system, both using its own resources, and cooperating with IDS Scheer."

This cooperation is preserved now. IDS Scheer and Irkutskenergo start a joint project on construction of the Balanced Scorecards System.
