OREANDA-NEWS  On 08 December was announced, that NBU conducted its third foreign currency auction, when it sold USD 93.3mn of foreign currency to commercial banks. In particular, 96.5% of the foreign currency was sold at UAH/USD 7.38-7.43, while only 3.6% was sold at UAH/USD 7.37. Meanwhile the demand for foreign currency was USD 433.8mn on that day. The exchange rate suggested by the commercial banks varied with in the range UAH/USD 5.7-7.45.  Overall, the NBU sold USD 197.5mn on the two previous auctions.
