OREANDA-NEWS. December 05, 2008. 27 additional trains will be traveling during the New Year and Christmas holidays. First Deputy Head of Main Passenger Department of Ukrzaliznytsya Olexandr Ivanko announced.

14 trains are appointed in the direction of Western Ukraine, 7 – to Moscow, 4 – to Crimea.

For winter conveyance Ukrzaliznytsya prepared 5 thousand 611 carriages. It is envisaged that in peak period over 6 thousand carriages will be used. For the passengers’ convenience the railway opened 73 additional ticket offices in service centres of the towns, at the railway stations and other spots of selling of travel documents.

The activity into studying the demand and appointment of additional trains for most popular directions is underway.
