OREANDA-NEWS. December 5, 2008. In January-November 2008, Commercial Seaport of Tuapse OJSC invested over RUR 16 million in implementation of ecological program. In particular, RUR 4.8 mln was spent for implementing three of five stages of the project aimed at creation of a single sanitary protection zone for enterprises in the water area of Tuapse seaport.

RUR 11.6 mln was invested in construction of a drainage system with arrangement of permanent withdrawal and utilization of subsoil oil products as well as in implementation f a project on construction of treatment facilities. This system will make it possible to prevent contamination of the Black Sea waters, the company reports.
