OREANDA-NEWS. December 5, 2008. Establishment of the Space Innovative Technology Institute (space faculty) in the Kazan University, Tatarstan, will help coordinating educational, research and innovative activities in the Tatarstan Republic in the area of space exploration outcome utilization.

The Institute is established in the framework of the "Utilization of the space exploration outcome for socio-economical development of the Tatarstan Republic, 2008-2010" program, approved by the Republican Cabinet Council on Oct. 15, 2008.
