OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 December was announced, that structural units and subsidiaries of OJSC PAVA, the largest grain processor in Siberia and the Far East – Mikhailovsky and Rebrikha mill as well as Pankrushikha grain-receiving enterprise (the Altay Territory) -have the capacity to store up to 100,000 tonnes of grain.

Achinsk mill situated in the Krasnoyarsk Territory obtained governmental accreditation and participates in the government programme of purchasing intervention grain.

Amendments №2 to the Trading Rules during state purchasing interventions were adopted on November 24, 2008 with a view to regulate the market for agricultural produce, commodities and food. Moreover, according to the decision of Russian Ministry of Agriculture the price floor was set, upon which in 2008 the government starts purchasing interventions for 3 grade soft milling wheat. The prices stand at RUR5,500 per ton in the Central, Northwest, Privolzhsky, Far Eastern and Southern federal districts; RUR6,000 per ton in the Ural and Siberian federal districts, as well as in the Orenburg region.

Elevators of the Altay grain processor that store intervention grain meet all the necessary technical requirements. The enterprises have stable financial basis which is important for partners of the PAVA company that invariably confirms its high status on the federal level.
