OREANDA-NEWS. On December 02, 2008 AB Mazeikiu Nafta concluded annual contracts with the business partners who were recognized winners of the tenders for international seaborne sales of gasoline and diesel. Two such contracts have been signed with the Dutch company Trafigura Beheer B.V., and a contract with the Swiss companies Vitol S.A. and ESC Trading S.A. each, reported the press-centre of Mazeikiu Nafta.

The contracts signed with Trafigura Beheer B.V. consider the terms & conditions for gasoline and diesel sales in 2009. As agreed in the contracts, gasoline sales next year are to amount to approximately 360 million US dollars, those of diesel – 390 million US dollars.

Besides, as per the contract signed with Vitol S.A., in 2009, the company shall purchase from AB Mazeikiu Nafta gasoline for 360 million dollars. The value of the contract signed with ESC Trading S.A. for diesel purchase is 600 million dollars.

The companies Trafigura Beheer B.V. and Vitol S.A. are well-known fuel wholesalers operating worldwide. The company ESC Trading S.A. is a fast developing wholesaler active on the markets of Northern Europe.

Conclusion of such annual contracts ensures stable seaborne sales of petroleum products produced by AB Mazeikiu nafta during the coming year. Total value of the aforementioned contracts amounts to approx. 1.7 billion dollars.
