OREANDA-NEWS  On 04 December was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium for 9 months 2008 on direct insurance contracts entered by the branches of Ingosstrakh coordinated by the Privolzhie Regional Center amounts to RUR 1 704 878 k, which is 81% higher than the premium collected over the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 1 413 271 k, including RUR 185 015 k in private insurance, RUR 1 206 493 k in property insurance and RUR 21 763 k in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 291 607 k.

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh in Privolzhie under direct insurance contracts in January-September 2008 amounted to RUR 765 972 k, including RUR 25 015 k in voluntary private insurance, RUR 534 169 k in property insurance and RUR 1 111 k in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 205 677 mln.

The most dynamic lines of business for the Privolzhie Regional Center during the first nine months of the year were private insurance and property insurance. The branches of the company coordinated by the regional center, account for 3.75% of the local insurance market and are rated fourth by the results for 9 months 2008.
