OREANDA-NEWS  On 03 December MegaFon, the first all-Russian mobile operator announced launch of the federal system of Internet-payments collection for its subscribers.

Now every MegaFon subscriber can recharge his\her account with Visa and Mastercard both at any point of Russia and abroad while being in international roaming. The service is effective in all Russian regions.

To pay for the mobile services, the Company’s subscribers need to enter the federal payment collection portal, pay.megafon.ru, enter the number of a receiver’s mobile phone and indicate the sum in the range of 10 - 1000 rubles. Card’s owner authorization system along with SSL-coded access to the bank authorization server will ensure maximum protection of the user while handling the Internet transaction. Collection of online-payments is not charged, and money is transferred to the account just instantly.

Larisa Tkachuk, MegaFon’s Chief Commercial Officer, said “In cooperation with Raiffeisenbank, we created an easy-to-use tool. It is no longer necessary to go out of the office or home, stand in line in order to pay for mobile services. Besides, such way of payment will be useful to people who are abroad and can not use standard payment options.”
