According to experts, chairman of Ukrsotsbank Borys Tymonkin entered the TOP-5 best representatives of the business elite of Ukraine in 2008. Authoritative business publication — the Kompanion magazine — published the results of the TOP-10 top-managers of Ukraine traditional rating.

Experts of the rating were 100 people — top managers and leading specialists of companies. The leaders were evaluated according to 10 criteria: innovative potential, corporate potential, business reputation, managerial potential, involvement in business, willing potential, business efficiency, professionalism, HR-capacity and charisma.

Borys Tymonkin is known as one of the most charismatic and influential bankers of Ukraine. According to Kompanion: "In addition to the leadership in Ukrsotsbank, he is also chairman of the board of FSTS, the chairman of the supervisory board of the First Credit Bureau of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of AUB, deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Interregional Fund Union. But the recipe of Mr. Tymonkin is simple: "If you are in aggressive environment, it is easy to form new goals. When we talk about the WTO, about 170 Ukrainian banks this is that very environment that encourages keeping ourselves in feet".
