OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2008. OAO Tatneft took part in the international "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2008" exhibition organized by the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, reported the press-centre of Tatneft.

 The exhibition was also attended by oil and gas companies of Great Britain, Germany, Iran, France and China. Russia was represented by Gazprom, Lukoil, INTEGRA companies, etc.

The stand of Tatneft set in the center of the Exhibition Palace in Ashgabat aroused great interest of the exhibition participants, and first and foremost, representatives of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Construction, as well as the interest of the professionals representing oil enterprises of the Republic.

Currently, Tatarstan and Turkmenistan actively develop cooperation in many areas and participation of Tatneft in the international exhibition in Ashgabat is one of the activities, which strengthens existing ties.

The exhibition was quite fruitful for Tatneft Company: preliminary agreements were achieved regarding future contracts as well as orders for equipment and services to our company. Tatneft was awarded a diploma of the Republic of Turkmenistan for the active participation in the exhibition.
