OREANDA-NEWS. December 2, 2008. As part of the visit to Venezuela by President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Management Board of Stroytransgaz Vyacheslav Makhonin participated in bilateral negotiations and in a meeting with President of Venezuela Hugo Chaves. 

For Stroytransgaz, the agreements reached between Russia and Venezuela in the energy sphere, including nuclear energy, and the signing of bilateral documents with state-owned company Petroleo de Venezuela S.A. for joint study of the Ayakucho-3 block in the oil-bearing strip of Orinoko hold particular interest.
