OREANDA-NEWS. December 2, 2008. A meeting of the Interagency Working Group took place in the city of Ufa. The meeting approved draft special republican program "Utilization of the space exploration outcome for the benefits of socio-economical evolution and enhancement of the Bashkortostan Republic competitiveness, 2009-2011".

Draft Program was prepared by the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Innovative Politics of the Bashkortostan Republic, and Roscosmos RECOD R&D and manufaturing corporation.
The report about the project was made by V.G.Bezborodov, RECOD DG. The discussions resulted in a conclusion to submit Draft Project to the Government of the Bashkortostan Republic.
