OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2008. International Development Bank (USAID) and Azerbaijan National Bank signed joint financial agreement  within the frame of stability program of financial sector implemented with the support of USAID, reported the press-centre of Azerbaijan National Bank.

The joint financial agreement in the amount of 4.75 billion USA dollars was signed in the form of agreement memorandum by Mr. Scot Taylor, the coordinator of USAID on Azerbaijan and Mr. Elman Rustamov, the chairman of AMB Managerial Staff.  Ms. Anna Dersi, the ambassador of USA to Azerbaijanand other representatives of AMB have taken part in the signing ceremony.

The main aim of this program is to develop the potential of macro- financial analysis of AMB, to strengthen IT systems , to control human resources and supervision systems of AMB. In the frame of joint financial agreement USAID aids in the amount 750,000 billion dollars.
