OREANDA-NEWS. By November 28, 2008 the state enterprises of the Ministry of Coal Industry of Ukraine have extracted 41 million 368.5 thousand tons of coal which is by 3.3 tons less against the respective period of 2007. It is also by 2.7 million tons more of steam coal and by 515 thousand tons more of coke coal.

Among the best producers are miners of the state enterprise SverdlovAntracite of the Luhansk region. They have 5 million 545 thousand tons of produce on their account. They are approached by workers of RovenkyAntracite which from the year’s start have mined 5.52 millions tons of coal.

Over 3.7 million tons of coal have been extracted from the start of the year at the state enterprise DobropillyaVuhillya of the Donetsk region. One of the best showings are demonstrated by Bilozerska mine.

Three million line has been firstly overcome by the state enterprise MakiyivVuhillya of the Donetsk region. This mine has the highest growth of annual extraction (321 thousand tons), which appears the top in the branch for now.

During the last meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Coal Industry of Ukraine Viktor Poltavets has set a task before the branch: to wind up the year of 2008 with the showing 46 million tons of coal.
