Thank you!" – told former graduate of Kazan branch of MPEU Ilshat Fardiev congratulating with the jubilee the university, alma-mater for many managers of Tatarstan power holding. In formal congratulations on behalf of the team of the holding the General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" emphasized the link between the power engineering of Republic of KSPEU and the role of the educational establishment and its staff in the history and current day of Tatarstan power engineering industry.

"The 40th anniversary of the institution is the decades of а fast developing of the industry, the locomotive of economics and guarantor of the well-being of Republic residents. These are hundreds of research developments and brilliant solutions underlying the large-scale projects…", – he told, recollecting Forel Zakirovich Tinchurin, Victor Konstantinovich Shibanov, Gennadi Fedorovich Bystritski, Yuri Gayazovich Nazmiev.

The festive event for the 40th anniversary of Kazan State Power Engineering University (KSPEU) was held on 21 November in HC "Himikov". To congratulate the university came the staff, graduates, students, officials, managers of the industry educational establishments of other regions of RF and power holding of Tatarstan. The congratulations with the round anniversary came from President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiev, Premier of Republic Rustam Mimmikhanov, managers of the Ministries and Departments, as well as the Rector of Moscow Power Engineering University (Technical University), on base of which was founded in 1968 Kazan branch. In it was expressed the true "parent" proud feeling for success of SPEU after gaining independence and confidence in its future: "You’ve done a lot and doing and will do much more for development of power engineering industry of both Tatarstan and across the world. We treat Kazan Power Engineering University not only as the big and robust son but as the major partner".

Mintimer Sharipovich, emphasized that KSPEU on permanent basis displays high results in preparing the skilled staff for power engineering industry, and when there takes place constant updating of the technologies and technical furnishing of the power engineering entities. The congratulations of the manager of Republic read Minister of Education and Science of RT Nail Valeev.

He gave the high award – the Letter of Thanks from President of RT to Dina Iosifovna Dergunova, the chief of the Office for Educating of KSPEU. The provost Vladimir Alexandrovich Dyganov and professor of the department of protection relays and automatics Renat Gizatullovich Minullin were awarded with Letter of Thanks of Cabinet of Ministers of RT.

The three representatives of Kazan Power Engineering – the associate professor of EOP department Zoya Vasilievna Shatskikh, professor of EN department Ravil Salihovich Abdrahmanov and associate professor of TOE department Evgeni Konstantinovich Zhigalko were presented the medals and orders bearing the name of Makarenko for successful educating and public activities. This award was given to former rector of KSPEU Yuri Petrovich Petrushenko. The big group of faculty were awarded the titles "Honored Research Staff of RT", "Honored Higher Education Staff RT", "Honored Power Engineering Specialist of RT", "Honored Staff of Higher Vocational Education of RF", and were awarded the prizes of Ministry for Youth, Sports and Tourism, Mayor Office of Kazan and Administration of Kirovski district.

The highest award – Honor scroll of JSC "Tatenergo" was awarded to faculty on the holiday. The first who received it from the hands of Ilshat Fardiev was its rector representing the entire staff of KSPEU.

The awards were also presented to Sergey Anatolievich Alexeev, senior instructor of social science department, Nadezhda Alexeevna Belaya, Director of center TSPP&TV, Yuri Gurianovich Volodin, associate professor of АТТP department, Gabdrahim Ziganshevich Ziganshin, professor of department of IM, Vadim Igorevich Kruglov, associate professors Sergey Alexandrovich Laptev, Yuri Georgievich Popov, Lyubov Alexandrovna Smirnova, Salvina Mansurovna Usmanova, Airat Albertovich Hamzin, Raisa Sadykovna Saitbatalvа.

Ilshat Fardiev emphasized that Kazan State Power Engineering University is the head university in the power cluster of Republic of Tatarstan. In cooperating with it JSC "Tatenergo" both creates the material base and respective infrastructure for research, design and project works in joint innovative developments. Majority of high mangers of "Tatenergo" holding were trained in Kazan Power Engineering University and today continue cooperate with the head university as professors and department heads taking part in teaching/learning. The Director of the power holding at the meeting at KSPEU was called "the past, present and future" on the University implying the support by Tatenergo of the institution and its best students.

The many-year cooperation of the power holding with KSPEU is the example of successful cooperation relationships between the system of professional education and business community. The interest of JSC "Tatenergo" holding in inflow of the high-class young specialists and skilled laborers is reflected in support of the gifted students and giving chance of production practice directly in the entities of the holding companies.

"On professionals was built the bright history of Tatar power system, and the hi-skilled staff trained in KSPEU with consideration of the modern demand to power system employees, puts a stake on the power holding", – accented the manager of Tatenergo, meaning that the utilization of the brand new technologies started in the industry. Partnership of JSC "Tatenergo" with world leaders in the area of electro-technical industry also requires the specialists with the brand new knowledge. And the base for training the high-skilled professionals both for production and servicing of the hi-tech equipment will remain our industry educational establishment.

In KSPEU has been founded the big regional center for training on base of Schneider Electric technologies, French partner of Tatarstan power engineering specialists. The highest new lab-training building of the university built with joint RAO "UES Russia" and JSC "Tatenergo" financing will be the training facility for preparing the high skill staff for power engineering industry of the country.

In his address the rector of KSPEU Yuri Petrushenko emphasized that KSPEU is the industry educational establishment and its first task is to prepare the competitive staff for power system. Not only of Republic of Tatarstan but of many other neighboring regions, but the power engineering specialists of power systems of CIS and Baltic states. Representative from Schneider Electric Vladimir Hohlovski called KSPEU "profile university" of the company and stressed its leader positions in education. By example of Tatenergo, Schneider Electric founded for students of Kazan Power Engineering University the five nominal remunerations.

In the course of event were voiced the congrats from Ministry of Education and Science of RF, Ministry for Youth, Sports and Tourism of RT, Council of Rectors of Higher Education of RT, and Minister of Transport of RT, who himself was the graduate of power engineering institute, presented lap- top to the best student of his former department –power supply to entities. The speeches alternated with performance by the orchestra "La Primavera" conducted by Rustem Abyazov.

After completing the formal part the guests socialized informally. We can say that the meeting of the former graduates of KSPEU showed that they have many things to be proud of. On stands with pictures from the history of the university many were surprised to get to know themselves. As all of them are the participants of the events in the history of the university and the entire power engineering industry of Tatarstan.
