OREANDA-NEWS  On 28 November was announced, that the first region to order school buses is Tatarstan. The SOLLERS Company, LCV FIAT Ducato manufacturer, delivered to local educational authorities 10 schools buses within the framework of Company’s republic tender winning. All ten vehicles, additionally equipped by local government with “Glonass” system of satellite positioning, are already transporting pupils in different Republic regions.

FIAT based school bus is developed by SOLLERS Company for Russian market along with another three special versions – ambulance, rout taxi and vehicles for disabled people transportation. FIAT Ducato was improved in strict correspondence to the Federal Standards especially for pupils’ transportation and is fully certified by government. In contrast to standard versions, FIAT Ducato based school bus is equipped with special child safety seats, shaped for children body structure and equipped with individual seatbelts, additional handrails, low side door step, ceiling console for light luggage and clothes transportation, separate heater, additional electronic security system with the speed limit of 60 kmh, which does not allow the driver to start moving with an open passenger door. The vehicle is designed for transporting 11 pupils and 1 accompanying person on the front seat

It is necessary to point out that FIAT Ducato based school bus is produced on “SOLLERS-Elabuga” in new special series automobile workshop. Such approach guarantees the highest quality of automobile assembly, considering that in contrast to companies, specialized on finished bodies’ readjustment, provides safe integration of any new equipment into bus chassis during its assembly. In addition, Russian FIAT Ducato production and developed dealer network provides continuity of spare parts supply and 24-hour technical support from the manufacturer, as well as from certified service stations.
