OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2008. The airline company Aeroflot Nord plans to launch an air route between Murmansk and Rovaniemi. The route will open no earlier than spring 2009.

Aeroflot Nord is searching for a Finnish partner, but has so far had little success. For the time being negotiations are in progress. If the airline manages to find a partner, the plan is to run 2-3 flights per week in the spring period.

Director of Aeroflot Nord in Murmansk Eduard Dombay has told that the airline plans to buy Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircrafts.
