Credit Standard Bank Launches New Money Remittance System
OREANDA-NEWS. On November 26, 2008 Credit Standard Open Joint-Stock Commercial Bank has announced the launch of a new international remittance service by the UNIStream system which the bank joined in the mid-November this year.
UNIStream is the eighth system of international remittance services the clients of the Credit Standard Bank are offered to use. Since 2003, Credit Standard has joined the systems of Western Union, XpressMoney, Migom, and Anelik.
Besides, the bank has an agreement with the SberBank of Russia for the provision of services on the money transfers on the territory of Russia. In 2008 the bank signed agreements with the systems of Faster and Allure.
According to the agreement signed with the Allure system, the bank is the principal member given an exclusive right to provide Allure money remittance services to third parties authorized to conduct this type of activity.
The Department for Deposit Operations and Money Transfers of the Credit Standard Bank said the bank was interested in cooperation with local banks and would gradually promote this system on the territory of Uzbekistan.
In the shortest future Credit Standard will additionally sign agreements with the Contact and Bystraya Pochta systems. After this the bank will have one of the widest remittance service product lines in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Credit Standard Bank was founded in August 2003 with a equity capital of 1.3 billion soums. The assts of the bank made up 218 billion soums as of 1 January 2008. The equity capital of the bank reached 29.4 billion soums as of 30 September 2008.
