OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2008. Over recent three months of operation at the largest in Europe nuclear power station – Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Station no single breach has been fixed.

It appears a peculiar achievement which proves the professionalism of Ukrainian nuclear engineers.

Over September-October of the current year in operation of equipment at the Ukrainian NPPs no breach has been fixed.

Zaporizhzya NPS possesses 6 power-generating units ВВЕР-1000. Annually the station generates around 40 bn kWt/h which equals about one-half of its production at the national NPPs. The station has been repeatedly recognized one of the best stations in the world as the one which completely harmonizes with the IAEA requirements.
