OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2008. In November 2008, ROSNO paid 4.86 million roubles to the owners of three stolen vehicles, one Lexus LX470 and two Toyota Land Cruiser 100, insured against the risks of theft, damage, and fire, reported the press-centre of ROSNO. 

The Lexus LX470 was stolen by unknown people from the parking lot located near the insurant’s home. Early in the morning, the owner received a phone call from an operator of the satellite search system installed on the vehicle, who asked to check the vehicle’s safety. The vehicle was absent, and, subsequently, the system failed to establish its whereabouts. In this case, ROSNO has paid an insurance compensation of 1.86 million roubles in favor of the bank originating the loan used to purchase the vehicle.

The vehicle Toyota Land Cruiser 100 was stolen by unknown people from the parking lot of a Moscow hypermarket located on Vernadsky Avenue, while the owner was doing shopping. Though the vehicle was equipped with the satellite search system, the subsequent search was of no avail. The insurance compensation equalled 1.5 mln roubles.

Also, ROSNO has paid an insurance compensation of 1.5 mln roubles to the insured owner of the vehicle Toyota Land Cruiser 100 stolen by unknown persons from near the residential building located on Festivalnaya Street. The vehicle’s absence was discovered by the owner, who looked in the window. The subsequent vehicle search via the satellite search system was not successful.
