OREANDA-NEWS. On November 26, 2008 The Government signed with the World Bank the Agreement on opening a UAH 3 billion credit.

This was informed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko at the beginning of the Cabinet’s sitting.

 She noted that this credit is provided for 30 years (interest rate – to 5 percent per year) and allows to stabilize the budget policy and implement the Law On State Budget concerning the deficit covering and expenses financing.

“This is the best loan which any governments have ever made to cover the budget deficit,” the Prime Minister stressed.
