OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2008. S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest air carrier by number of transported passengers on domestic routes, has received the Sales Business Awards prize for outstanding sales, marketing and advertising in 2008, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

The awards ceremony for the Sales Business Awards was held on November 19, 2008 in Moscow. This year the prize was awarded in 30 categories to companies that sell products and services to end consumers. S7 Airlines took first place in the transport category.

The tourism holding company S7 Tour was nominated at the Sales Business Awards 2008 for the award in the tourism category.

The Sales Business Award is an acknowledgement of the company’s success not only by consumers, but the business community as well. The jury consists of the market participants themselves choosing the best companies from among their colleagues and competitors. More than 1000 companies of the Russian consumer market took part in this year’s voting.

The Sales Business Awards are organized by Sales Business, a business magazine about the consumer market. The purpose of the prize is to identify the best-performing Russian businesses of the year.
