OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2008. The power engineering specialists are ready for winter. This week the entities of JSC "Tatenergo" received the passports of readiness for operation in autumn-winter period of 2008-2009. On Monday the document was produced by General Director of the power holding Ilshat Fardiev to three companies: Naberezhnye Chelny Thermal Network Company, Zainsk Condensation Plant and Nizhnekamsk CHP.

As said the head of JSC "Tatenergo", in each division of the holding worked the commissions and basing on results of their activities the decision was made: each company receives the passport of readiness for work in autumn-winter period. This document is appreciation of the coordinated work by each staff that Ilshat Fardiev thanked. "We are awaiting, - he said, - when winter comes".

As was said in presentation of the head of the power holding in the last two years the Board of Directors of the Company made critical decisions for founding the two holdings - Generation Company and the Network Company. Brand "Tatenergo" will pass to Generation Company. One more significant news - starting on 1 January the company "Energosbyt" will be named Tatenergosbyt and together with Generation Company will receive the status of the subject of wholesale electricity market. Thus, each procedure for purchase and sale of electricity in our Republic will be done by Tatenergosbyt. Among the priorities standing before the Generation Company – to maximally load the production capacities and accurately forecast the electricity consumption as any deviation from the forecast is the financial loss.

The special focus was made by Ilshat Fardiev on the world financial crisis. The consequences of the crisis will impact the operation of many enterprises. In the opinion of the manager of Tatenergo, the peak of the crisis in Republic will fall on the first, beginning of the second quarter of 2009.

- As was said in the recent message of President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiev to Gossovet of RT, under conditions of crisis the most developed regions suffer. Five biggest companies - "KAMAZ", Тatneft, Kazanorgsintez, Nizhnekamskneftehim, Nizhnekamsktire constitute 65% of gross products of our Company as regards electricity and heat. On activities of these leading companies of Republic depend the results of work of our company, - said Ilshat Fardiev . – We have to sit and negotiate the volumes of electricity consumption. We have to survive this crises with minimal losses. Recently we had negotiations with representatives of the foreign banks, that developed their criteria for financing. In the crises the first priority if liquidity availability.

"The situation is not simple, - went on the head of the power holding, - but we have to fulfill the taken obligations. We cannot reduce personnel number, cannot not pay salaries, not pay the taxes. No one must doubt in realization of solutions that we have taken. The agreements reached between administration and the staff will be implemented in full. Despite the crisis we must work, and go forward".
