DIXY Group Announced 34% Revenue Growth for 10 Months of 2008
OREANDA-NEWS On 25 November Dixy Group – one of the leading food retailers in the Russian Federation - announced robust revenue growth of 34% growth in Russian ruble terms (43% in US dollar terms) for the ten months ended 31 October 2008 over the same period in 2007.
Dixy Group’s total revenue for the first ten months of 2008 was RUR 38,769 million, a 34% increase compared to RUR 28,870 million for the first ten months of 2007.3 In USD terms total revenue increased to 1,596 million, a 43% increase compared to USD 1,119 million for the same period of 2007.
Retail revenue from Dixy for the ten months of 2008 was RUR 32,865 million (USD 1,353 million), which was 30% in RUR (38% in USD) higher than in the same period last year.
Retail revenue from Megamart for the ten months of 2008 was RUR 3,941 million (USD 162 million), which was 68.5% in RUR (79% in USD) higher than in the same period last year.
Retail revenue from Minimart for the ten months of 2008 was RUR 1,407 million (USD 58 million), which was 56% in RUR (65% in USD) higher than in the same period last year.
Retail revenue from VMart for the ten months of 2008 was RUR 186,6 million (USD 7.7 million).
Revenue from other activities, such as marketing revenue, sublease income and wholesale revenue amounted to RUR 367 million (USD 15 million).
