OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2008. Irina Ostryakova, 34, joins Cherkizovo Group as Head of Communications, effective from 17th November, 2008, reported the press-centre of Cherkizovo.

In her new role Irina will be responsible for strategic corporate communications at Group level, formulating and executing the Company’s Public and Investor Relations strategies, and for internal communications. Previously, Irina worked as Communications Director at Carlsberg Group, one of the world’s largest brewing companies, where she was responsible for the Eastern Europe region.

She also served as Communications Director for the NYSE-listed Mechel OAO, one of the largest mining and metals companies in Russia.
