OREANDA-NEWS  On 24 November over a month ago PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) announced the exclusive product launch – protein-enriched, vitaminized flour.

Russian flour market is characterized by high competitiveness. According to the experts of the flour milling sector, Russian consumers are in favourable situation, being ‘spoiled’ by both domestic and overseas suppliers.

During the past few years, bread bakers in search of something new, something that would single them out among the others, have revised their recipes and production technologies. With manufacturers’ needs in view, grain processors are trying to change the quality and the range of the products they offer.

‘Flour is a traditional product and it’s very difficult to invent novelties here. However with wholesome nutrition and healthy lifestyle becoming widespread, the market saw bread with additives, and the primary product for its preparation – flour mixes’, said PAVA Commercial Director.

Flour mixes, gaining popularity on the market, especially in the European part of the country, are blends consisting of several flour grades with addition of wholesome cereal ingredients and enzymes to make the bakery fluffy.

PAVA specialists have conducted a research of the current supply and demand situation and concluded that there is a need for launching a completely new, outstanding product. Due to a special technology of processing and selection of cereals, new variety of flour was manufactured. Protein-enriched, vitaminized flour produced by PAVA is rich in macroelements, trace elements and vitamins which are contained in the kernel. The technology allows to preserve the qualities of grain in the flour.

‘In future we plan to sell not only the enriched flour, but also other products prepared from it which are in demand on the market’, commented Angela Kiseleva.
