OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2008. Deputy Minister of Industrial Policy of Ukraine Viktor Padalko took part in the workshop held in the frames of a visit to Ukraine leadership and members of Scandinavian Automotive Suppliers Association.

The event was marked with participation of representatives of National Automobile Dealers Association, Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine, Swedish Trade Council, leading Ukrainian automotive enterprises, in particular, OJSC AvtoKrAZ, Bohdan Corporation and others.

Viktor Padalko informed about the development of automotive branch in Ukraine while the Swedish side, in their turn, have imparted about peculiarities of Scandinavian technologies, approaches to manufacturing and assembling of automobiles.

The main objective of the visit of Scandinavian Automotive Suppliers Association to Ukraine has become familiarizing with automotive industry of Ukraine. The event’s attendants have also dwelt upon possibilities of cooperation and holding of business meetings targeting maintaining of partnership between Swedish and Ukrainian enterprises in the area of joint production of components on Ukrainian enterprises and in selling of integrated technologies for Ukrainian automotive construction.
