OREANDA-NEWS  On 20 November was announced, that director for operation and repairs of IDGC of Centre Dmitry Pankov presented a report at the "Reliability. Technological Asset Management in the Power Industry and Production" forum. At the forum organized by the largest Russian professional magazine "Energorynok" (Power sector market), Dmitry Pankov told about his experience of implementation and functioning of analytical tools and methods of equipment reliability management n IDGC of Centre.

For IDGC of Centre - the grid distribution company - reliability management becomes rather a pressing issue. In order to organize this process in the company, it is necessary to be based, first, on the relevance and reliability of the information that is on the authentic statistics. Secondly, analytical statistical data processing should be taken into account, the indicators of which should be normalized and fixed. Thirdly, attention should be paid to the integration with the core industrial business processes.

All this especially gets relevance within the limits of gradual implementation of RAB-based tariff system in the grid distribution companies which provides two main components in the methodology of service parameters: focus on the client (consumer) and reliability indicators.

Considering experience of the foreign companies which within the limits of the existing RAB regulation already estimate and standardize comprehensive statistical data using it as the main tool, IDGC of Centre conducted large-scale activities on increase in indicators of reliability, the investment, repairs and other programs of the company should be focused on.

As is known, the IT platform for all directions of IDGC of Centre's activities is SAP/R3. Great work on integration of the tool base into SAP (statistics of switching-off, analytical data processing) with the purpose of efficient control over industrial business processes was held.

Implementation of analytical tools will allow to operate effectively assets of the company from the point of view of operational costs that will increase reliability, stability and financial standing of IDGC of Centre.
