OREANDA-NEWS. On November 17, 2008 the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) imposed two administrative fines for the total amount 80 000 Rubles (40 000 Rubles each), upon the "On Clinic" International Medical Center for improper advertising of medical services offered by the Centre, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier FAS Russia recognized that the Medical Centre had violated Part 7 Article 24 of the Federal Law "On Advertising" in the advertisements of its medical services published in the "7 Dney TV Programma" magazine.

The advertising module with the advertisement of the medical services, offered by the Centre, was published in No.2 "7 Dney TV Programma" magazine for 7-12 January 2008, which stated that the Centre offers world-class standards for diagnostics, treatment and services, and all kinds of medical tests. No.6 "7 Dney TV Programma" magazine for 4-10 February 2008 had two advertising modules with the advertisement of the Centre's medical services.

The first advertisement stated that the Centre offers the full range of diagnostic tests and methods of treatments in sexology, gynecology, urology, and proctology. The second advertisement informed about medical services for various diagnostic tests and blood tests, and included the expression "Timely diagnosis - the first step to good health!"

The advertisements did not contain the warning on possible counter-indications to use and application and the need to review the usage instructions or consult with the specialists, as required by the Federal Law "On Advertising".
