OREANDA-NEWS  On 19 November Uralkali (Berezniki, Perm Territory) announced its production results for October 2008 and the first 10 months of 2008.

In October Uralkali produced 420.9 thousand tonnes of potassium chloride, which is a 5.8% decrease on October 2007 (446.8 thousand tonnes). The company’s overall output since the beginning of the year is 4450.4 thousand tonnes of potassium chloride – a 5.8% increase compared to the same period last year (4203.1 thousand tonnes).
