OREANDA-NEWS  On 19 November was announced, that a viewing point on Zhivopisny Bridge over the Moskva River will be opened up to visitors in 2009.

“The viewing point is to be located on Zhivopisny cable-braced bridge to allow people to watch a unique view over Moscow. I believe we will complete the construction of the observation deck in 2009. It will have a restaurant or a cafe,” Aleksandr Levchenko, head of Department of Road and Bridge Engineering of Moscow, said.

According to the official, the visitors to the observation deck will go up to it in the comfortable closed cabins like mountain lifts. “These cabins will be closed and equipped with air conditioners,” he noted.

Mr Levchenko added that it was decided to provide the viewing point with water supply and sewerage services.
