OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2008. Rosneft has recently won three nominations at the 11th Annual Reports Contest held by the Russian Trading System stock exchange, reported the press-centre of Rosneft.

Rosneft has taken the first prize in the nomination for the best information disclosure in annual report by a company with a market capitalization of more than RUB 100 bln. In addition, the Company has received awards for the best annual report in the English language and the best sustainable development report.

In 2008, the RTS contest drew 14 participants more as compared to the prior year, with a total of 128 Russian companies representing the oil & gas, power, metals & mining, banking, development, telecommunications, investment, and automotive industries. The first RTS contest, which took place a decade ago, had far fewer participants — only 29.

The RTS awards ceremony was held in Moscow on November 14.
