OREANDA-NEWS  On 18 November was announced, that according to preliminary information, over 9  months 2008  total premium for direct insurance of the North-Western Regional Center of Ingosstrakh IJSC amounted to RUB 438 077б, which is  28% more than in the same period of 2007.

Total premium for voluntary insurance, other than life  insurance, amounted to RUB  352 570k  (an increase of 40%), including for personal insurance - RUB 15 125k, for property insurance - RUB 320 333k  (an increase of 58%), for liability insurance – RUB 17 112k. Total premium for compulsory motor TPL insurance is RUB  85 507 090.

Compensations paid by the North-Western Regional Center of Ingosstrakh IJSC for direct insurance over 9 months of 2008 amounted to RUB 208 302 636, including for personal insurance  – RUB 10 047 094, for property insurance – RUB 118 894 200, for voluntary liability insurance – RUB 4 583 309. Payments under compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB74 778 033.

"These results were attained thanks to a proactive position of the company in developing of its agency network,  careful risk assessment when enetring into contracts and high quality of services during claims settlement. A large growth in car insurance was also due to promotion of  unique cooperation programs for dealers", commented Vladimir Khrabrykh, Director of the North-Western Regional Center of Ingosstrakh IJSC.
