OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2008. The energy generating company Dniproenergo (Zaporozhye) has announced 2 tenders to select financial institutions for raising 2 loan facilities to an amount of UAH336m, says the message of Dniproenergo that the information agency Ukrainskie Novosti has.

In particular, the company has announced a tender for raising UAH236m (or the equivalent amount in a foreign currency) in the form of a non-revolving credit line for 5 years (from December 2008 to December 2013).

The second tender is for a revolving credit line to UAH100m for 1 year (December 2008 - December 2009).

Tender offers on both tenders are to be opened on November 25.

Bid security is not required.

As informed by the agency, in September, one of the largest banks – the State Savings Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank), represented by its Zaporozhye Regional Branch, won the tender on providing Dniproenergo with a revolving credit line of UAH150m for 3 years (September 2008 - September 2011).

Dniproenergo ended Quarter 2 with a loss of UAH18.334m, having increased its net income y-o-y by 15.32%, or by UAH121.68m, to reach UAH915.659m.

The company finished 2007 with a net profit of UAH 121.938m, having increased its net income y-o-y by 37.52%, or by UAH1,044.37m to UAH3,828.103m.
