OREANDA-NEWS. On November 11, 2008 Kazkommertsbank JSC announced that Alnair Capital Holding JSC has disclosed information on the number of common shares of the Bank that it holds in the form of global depositary receipts to the Central Depository of Kazakhstan, reported the press-centre of Kazkommertsbank.

The disclosure was made by Alnair Capital Holding solely for the purpose of participation and voting at the Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting of the Bank on November 10, 2008.
 
According to the Bank of New York Mellon, nominal holder of the Bank’s shares in the form of global depositary receipts, as at October 10, 2008, Alnair Capital Holding JSC had 144,625,896 common shares of the Bank, which is 25.15% of the total outstanding common shares of the Bank.
 
Earlier, according to the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Markets and Financial Organizations Decree #113 as of July 18, 2008, Alnair Capital Holding JSC obtained the status of a bank holding company with respect to the Bank.
