Nagatino-City Will Replace Pharmaceutical Plants
OREANDA-NEWS On 14 November was announced, that Nagatino-City mixed-use complex will be put up at a junction of Varshavskoe Highway and Nagatinskaya Street, in the place of the pharmaceutical plants which will be moved to the Moscow region, by the end of 2010.
The area of the large pharmaceutical production complex located in south Moscow will be redesigned in the near future. The largest hotel complex in Europe is planned to be erected in the place of the existent plants producing pills and ampoules, an official site of the prefecture of the southern administrative district of Moscow reported.
The total area of the structures included in Nagatino-City will be roughly 1 million sq m.
The first stage of the development is scheduled to be launched in summer 2009. The tallest building within the project will be the 40-storey hotel complex which is able to accommodate 1,500 guests, however, its capacity may be increased up to 3,000 guests. An educational centre as well as a research one will be added to the complex centre by early 2014.
Besides, the area of Nagatino-City is designed to have an educational centre for the workers in the pharmaceutical sector and at the bank of pharmaceutical information where a unique data-base of all medicines of the world, including homeopathic and folk ones, will be compiled.
