OREANDA-NEWS. On November 12, 2008 Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko proposed to draft mechanisms for reducing the cost price of house-building. She told a meeting with representatives of the banking institutions, building and agrarian branches.

According to the Prime Minister, maximum reduction of the building is intended at the cost of eliminating all overhead expenses and simplifying the regulatory procedures. At the same time, in Yulia Tymoshenko’s opinion, it is necessary to develop mechanisms in mortgage lending. “This is crediting of dwelling consumers and, as a matter of fact, building companies which have not to suspend their work but efficiently continue it,” she said.

At that the Premier noted that building branch is key for many workplaces in Ukraine so under the global financial crisis it should be supported by the Government.
