OREANDA-NEWS  On 13 November was announced, that Katavsky cement, integrated in EUROCEMENT group holding, won the regional competition "Collective contract as the basis for the protection of the employees' social and labor rights" devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Chelyabinsk region establishment and the 60th anniversary of establishing the Federation of the Chelyabinsk region trade unions. 

The competition was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Chelyabinsk region. This year 99 organizations and companies from the public and private sector took part in the event. The collective contracts were as-sessed according to the main criteria, namely salaries and social payments, labor protection and conditions, workers' employment, implementation of social pro-grams. After summing up the results the competition winners were awarded. At the meeting of the Chelyabinsk region trilateral commission for the regulation of the social and labor relations which took place in the Ministry of Economic Develop-ment on the 23rd of October, 2008, the collective contract of CJSC Katavsky ce-ment was recognized as the best in the 4th group (from 501 to 1000 employees).

The representatives of CJSC Katavsky cement were awarded a valuable pre-sent, a diploma and the cup for the victory in the regional competition "Collective contract as the basis for the protection of the employees' social and labor rights".
