OREANDA-NEWS  On 13 November OMZ OJSC (Uralmash-Izhora Group) (RTS: OMZZ; LSE: OMZD; OTC: UHMVY) announced the appointment of Yuri Dragunov as Deputy General Director responsible for engineering. Mr. Gradunov will also be responsible for strategic planning and information technologies in the company.

Mr. Dragunov was elected a member of OMZ’s Managing Board.

Mr. Dragunov has an academic specialty in physics and he holds a PhD in Engineering. He is a Professor and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. For over 30 years, he has worked at the Hydropress Development Design Bureau holding a number of posts from Designer to Director and General Designer. Prior to joining OMZ, Mr. Dragunov was an Advisor to the Director, Atomenergoprom OJSC.
